Digital Marketing Roundtable: Selling to the New Generation of Buyers

Over the last year, we’ve seen major economic changes and shifts in how business is being conducted. One of these significant trends needs to be brought to light: The recent rise of millennials taking over the c-suite as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since March 2020 – over 3 million workers aged 55-70 have left the labor force, voluntarily or not. Now, workers between the ages of 25-40 are filling in these gaps.

For years, we’ve been talking about the rise of millennials in decision-making roles, but we haven’t seen a massive shift like this one.

How do you quickly adjust your marketing to this emerging generation of buyers that have new ideas and goals? In this media-driven culture we live in, millennials have marketing messages thrown at them all day, whether they search for it or not. How do you stand out among the rest? It might be time to get creative with content, social media, and other more integrated marketing strategies.
