A website’s homepage is prime real estate for any business. It’s one of the most critical pages of a site and needs to immediately capture the visitor’s attention, clearly explain the business, and offer an obvious call-to-action that invites the visitor to take the desired next step. Nicolet Plastics understood this, and recognized that their website lacked these key elements, which were essential for new leads and sales. The manufacturer came to Top Floor for our expertise in website design that turns clicks into customers.
Our task at hand was to redesign the website with a homepage that quickly told visitors what Nicolet Plastics is all about, showed how they were different from their competitors, and offered a motivation to switch plastic injection molders. Diving deeper into the website, we also needed to build on content and call-to-actions that would intrigue both visitors and customers to be more interactive with the site.
With Nicolet Plastics University (an educational program that allows engineering and purchasing to stay current with the changes in plastics injection molding) being a key initiative for the manufacturer, another primary focus of this project was promoting the program and other education throughout the website.

Nicolet Plastics focuses on gaining accounts that make high-end parts and values their innovation to meet customers’ high quality or critical performance requirements. By taking time to fully understand the client’s goals and challenges, we were able to create a website that matches this focus. The homepage of the website now fully expresses the Nicolet Plastic story and their values that make them different from competitors. The new user-friendly design guides visitors through the website, while still offering a prominent “Get a Quote” call-to-action. With a content-driven approach, Nicolet Plastics was able to portray themselves as the industry experts that they are through blogs, material guides, and a glossary resource.
