In-Place Machining’s (IPM) website was built more than a decade ago and had an out-of-date design with a difficult-to-use navigation system. After purchasing an existing website, the need to merge content and update usability lead to a full website rebuild. In addition to a complete website overhaul, they were looking to boost leads and contact form submissions, increase search engine rankings, and streamline their target market reach in the field-machining industry.
Our
Solution
Two of the top goals of In-Place Machining’s website redesign project were to increase overall conversions and implement an improved CMS platform to edit and navigate. With these goals in mind, Top Floor included eye-catching callout sections throughout each detail page to help lead the user to the contact forms.
The new website which was built on WordPress, combined content from IPM’s old website plus content from the purchased website. During the consolidation process, high-ranking keywords were included to improve SEO. The overall design of the website is modern and includes up-to-date design trends to keep the users engaged. Some key features include in-text linking, high-resolution imagery, and a robust Job Story section where case studies show IPM’s expertise in their industry. The WordPress CMS also includes multiple types of page layouts, creating variation but more importantly, giving IPM the ability to update the site’s content themselves.
