What You'll Be Doing

The Lead SEO Specialist is responsible for creating robust, impactful strategies for Top Floor’s clients, communicating with internal and external marketing teams, and keeping the team and managers informed of progress. This individual would be seen as the team expert in all things SEO. This would include training other specialists on the team, writing and executing SEO processes, and be the go-to resource for the team in relation to SEO.

You will coordinate Top Floor’s planning and implementation efforts in tandem with specialists in other disciplines and account managers already on staff at Top Floor.

  • SEO Strategy creation
  • Utilize SEO Tools (Google Analytics, SEM Rush, MOZ, Google Search Console, etc.) to gauge site performance
  • Keyword research and generation
  • Keyword and Meta Data implementation
  • Creating and presenting strategy recommendations to clients
  • Monthly report generation
  • Working with members of various disciplines to provide the best marketing solution to clients
  • Staying current and updating the team on the latest search marketing trends
  • Host internal SEO training sessions
  • Designing and implementing SEO processes
  • Additional job responsibilities as assigned by the manager

Job Requirements

Who We're Looking For

  • 2 plus years of hands-on search engine optimization experience
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word) and Google products (Google Data Studio, Google Drive, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Functional knowledge of HTML
  • Training and/or Leadership experience

A Plus, But Not Required

  • Working knowledge of Drupal and WordPress content management systems
  • A/B Testing Experience
  • Usability testing experience
  • Marketing and copywriting experience
  • Experience implementing new processes
