Industrial Vacuum Equipment Corporation provides vacuum solutions for a variety of industrial settings, including painting and sandblasting, asbestos abatement, roofing applications, abrasive blast recovery, hazardous waste removal, carbon removal, steel mills, and shipyards.
The Challenge
With a new website launched in April 2011, Industrial Vacuum aimed to spread the word to their existing customers and contacts about the new services and functions available online.
The Solution
Top Floor Technologies planned and implemented an email campaign for Industrial Vacuum that was integrated into Campaign Monitor. The email was sent to nearly 3,000 customers.
The email included:
- Helpful graphics and concise copy to provide a quick update of the new features of the website, including improved site navigation, e-commerce and expanded equipment rental options
- Calls to action directing users to specific areas of the site:
- Visit Store – guided users to the e-commerce area, where they can quickly locate and purchase the vacuum parts and accessories they are looking for
- Visit Rental – showed users an expanded array of rental opportunities, including Industrial Vacuums and Dust Collectors
- Visit Site – highlighted the enhanced layout and navigation of the new website

Industrial Vacuum experienced significant improvement in website visits and qualified leads through this campaign. During the week of the eblast:
- Visits rose to 621, a 131% increase over the average amount of weekly visits
- Leads rose to 24, a 141% increase over the average amount of weekly leads
