The Challenge
DCI Cheese Company’s previous website had a strong corporate feel, but did not effectively showcase the company’s product portfolio. DCI wanted to revamp their site with a more product-oriented focus, an improved design, and a more intuitive user experience.
The Solution
Top Floor Technologies redesigned the DCI website with enhanced site navigation and key user-experience improvements. Highlights of the site improvements include:
- E-commerce functionality was improved and better integrated, including a dedicated “Purchase” section and “add to cart” buttons available on related product pages.
- Relationship-driven navigation allowed visitors to easily find what they are looking for. Intuitive cross-linking was created between cheeses and recipes, beverage pairings, regions, brands, and cheese types.
- A full-featured, interactive recipe section enabled consumers to browse recipes either by course or by cheese type, and invites users to submit their own recipes.
