Top Floor Employee Earns Email Marketing Certification from MECLABS
New Berlin, WI, January 19, 2012 – Drew Sanders, Top Floor’s client services representative, recently was certified by MECLABS Group as the first email marketing professional at Top Floor Technologies.
“It was really profound to learn that you are not only optimizing an email message; you are optimizing a thought sequence,” said Sanders. “The key to email is generating additional click throughs for a landing page, instead of ’trying to make a sale.’ You need to align with customers’ expectations, engage them and get into a conversation.”

Sanders was instructed by Flint McGlaughlin, managing director and CEO of MECLABS. MECLABS is a training and publications center specializing in marketing, which offers the 10 hour online training session. The session covers the foundation of email marketing optimization, including email capture, messaging and conversions.
Sanders looks forward to exploring email marketing with a systematic and scientific approach, using a combination of applicable theories and real case studies as guides. His focus will include reducing friction and anxiety, increasing relevance and finding incentives within the email marketing process.
“What I learned is that if you haven’t found the right incentive, you just haven’t looked hard enough,” said Sanders. “You should always be testing for perfect incentives - to generate additional click throughs or conversions.”
