Senior Level PHP Developer with a Passion for Drupal Development
We are looking for an experienced developer to join our dynamic web development team. If you’re passionate about showing organizations how to harness the power of Drupal’s framework to achieve their objectives then give us a call.
Position Overview:
- Selecting and integrating Drupal modules to provide desired functionality
- Customizing Drupal modules or writing new ones as appropriate
- Maintaining, upgrading and debugging existing Drupal installations
- Mentoring other team members in all things Drupal
- Assisting in the planning, estimating and refinement of project requirements
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of web development experience
- Samples of your work that will demonstrate your level of expertise with Drupal
- HTML/CSS experience
- Javascript/jQuery Experience
- PHP (OOP) Experience
- Experience with theming Drupal (Zen Framework, CCK, View, Templating)
- Experience writing new modules for Drupal
- Database administration experience
- Server Admin experience a plus
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science
- Git/SVN experience
- Large e-commerce or large site architecture experience
- Experience with various Drupal distributions (Open, Atrium, Drupal Commons, Pressflow, etc.)
- Importing/updating thousands of nodes via either Node Import, Feeds or custom build modules
- Performance tuning Drupal via PHP, JS, server tweaks
- Drupal 7 experience (as well as earlier versions)
- An account on Drupal.org and other evidence that demonstrates your commitment to the community
- Custom module development (various Drupal hooks), deep knowledge of views/panels (code, not just UI), site migration experience, understand the Form API, etc.
- Custom theme development
